StarBlaster Professional Buffer & Clean Booster Effects Pedal

StarBlaster Professional Buffer & Clean Booster

StarBlaster (AKA Starship) is designed to be many things at once. When tone control is set to center and the blast is off, you can use it as a buffer to eliminate the treble loss of long cables and multiple pedals. It works really well as a clean preamp; it sounds crystal clear, yet warm and articulate. It can be used as a clean booster AND a treble booster depending on the tone control setting, it is especially useful for solo boosting and fattening up the lead guitar. It shines when used with tube amps.

Dual JFET gain stages ensure stable output with an unbelievable signal-to-noise ratio while its low impedance output can drive a power amp with juice to spare.

StarBlaster would make a great addition to any professional guitarist’s pedal board. A true jack of all trades, which manages to be the master of all!

For information on how we record samples, please visit Recoding FAQ page. The numbers refer to clock positions, for example Tone 12 means tone knob is set to 12 o’clock. If a toggle was set to default position, it is omitted in the title; i.e. if UltraBASS was off, there would be no reference to it.  A particular toggle is only mentioned if it was on when that sample was recorded unless it is a two position mode switch.

Updated samples are coming soon! Please visit the previous website for reference, however the objectives of the clips were different. Please see recording FAQ for more details on this.

Notice: It may take up to a minute for the sound samples to be loaded, depending on your connection. Please wait until all of them are up for the best listening experience. Samples are listed in no particular order.
